J. Allan Douglas, PhD has been in private practice in New York City for 25 years.  He is a Structural Therapist dealing with musculoskeletal problems and holistic health related issues.  He was one of the founders in the early 1980s of Advanced Nutritional Research, which developed the first hypoallergenic, chelated vitamin mineral formulation for over-the-counter use.

Dr. Douglas has seen a dramatic increase over the past 25 years in patient complaints and health issues related directly to the patient's indoor air environment. This trend prompted Dr. Douglas’ interest in the health effects of the indoor air environment.

Dr. Jacob Schor was born in San Francisco and raised in a suburb of New York City. His eclectic background includes time as a baker, meditation instructor, employee for a corporate food research lab, owner of a pizza restaurant and telemark ski instructor. In the fall of 1987, Dr. Schor attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine.
"The eclectic approach using the knowledge from so many different fields of study, looking for solutions for the entire person rather that fixing the piece, made such perfect sense to me, I couldn't resist," remembers Dr. Schor. "It was the right place, and the perfect profession."

Dr. Schor has a wealth of knowledge that he draws on to work with complicated cases. His passion for learning didn't stop in school, and he welcomes each patient as a chance to learn something new. He thrives on figuring out complex cases, and pursues creative avenues to find relief for each patient. He has never been known to limit himself to what he learned yesterday. He makes frequent trips to the mountains to be rejuvenated by snow and fresh air, but when stuck in the city, you can often find him in the Park Hill library.

Dr. Schor served as president of the Colorado Association of Naturopathic Physicians from 1992 to 1999 and subsequently as legislative chair for the same organization.  He currently serves on the board of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is a frequent contributor to "Naturopathy Digest" and "Naturopathic Doctor News and Review."
